This week: Jamie's favorites (28 yrs, 9 mo)

  • Favorite Colin moment: Colin singing and dancing
  • Favorite dinner party: Megan, Tom, Jesse, Ben, Natalie, Jack, Jamie & Colin. What a fun night of margaritas, story telling, and ice cream! So much fun.
  • Favorite Natalie moment of the week: Colin refusing to eat popcorn with anyone else but Natalie. Also, thank you Natalie for babysitting so Jack & I can go out on dates! =)
  • Favorite season: Fall. After much debate, we missed a birthday party this weekend because it was smack in the middle of Colin's nap time. (happy birthday Sam!) But after nap time, we did make it out to the Shaker Fall fest.
  • Favorite pregnancy moment: Feeling baby kicks! Yes, they've started.
  • Favorite phone call of the weekend: Denny calling to announce his new engagement. Congrats Denny & Casie!
Love,
Jamie

Favorite tricks: Entertaining Mom and Aunt Natalie after dinner. I'm teaching myself yoga.

Favorite part of the playground: Going down the slide with Dad.

Lastly, I love my new school. My favorites are dancing to "one, two, buckle my shoe," baking corn muffins, learning sign language, and playing peekaboo after nap time with my friends.

baby....BROTHER!

Hi everyone,

It's official, I'm going to be a big brother! Mom and Dad tell me that a baby BROTHER is growing in mommy's belly. I'm not too sure what this means yet, but they tell me it'll be fun. 20 more weeks to go!

Love,
Colin

Week in SF & Lake Tahoe

As soon as we landed, Colin remembered baba and jichi (my parents) and Auntie Lori immediately, and went running to all of them. It was amazing to watch, and he was so good on the trip!

SF activities included Erik & Korby's amazing wedding (congratulations!), playdates with cousins and friends, eating, Stow Lake visit to feed the ducks, fish and turtles, dancing & seeing bachan's veggie garden!
Lake Tahoe activities included riding the Heavenly gondola up to 9,123 feet, a biking tour, hiking, lounging by the lake, eating, gambling & watching one of Jack's favorite bands (G. Love).
Thank you everyone for making it an amazing week!

Dancing!

1. Colin is going to be Nemo for Halloween! Thanks Bachan and Jichan for sending him his Nemo costume early. He absolutely loves wearing it, dancing in it, and using it as a pillow! Here's a video of him trying it on for the first time. As soon as he had it on, he begged to start dancing. One of his favorite songs is "num-nine." (Dr. Knickerbocker's Number Nine, the Wiggles).

2. He loves music and dancing. He dragged Natalie to the stage of a grass concert...and started dancing on stage!

3. Natalie remembers when Rylee used to open the fridge and sit inside. Colin hasn't exactly done that yet--but he loves looking in the fridge, and he often pulls a chair up for a more relaxed viewing of the fridge contents.4. Cousins galore! We spent the day at Grandma's house playing with all of the cousins. Thank you Grandma for dinner (& dessert), and thank you cousins for keeping Colin running around for 6 hours. Unfortunately no pictures, but great memories of Colin & Sam in the dog cage, and Colin using one end of the jump rope to sing while Sam tried to jump rope with the other end!
