Happiness = Babies + 68

Farm Park weekend! Maple Sugaring Weekend + the babies are out = Spring is near!
There's nothing better than seeing day/week old babies walking about the farm. We love company and Grandma joined us for this visit. Justin normally isn't carried, but when animals about your size are walking towards you - you might want to be carried too.
We're fans of the farm park because you can get up close to the animals. Jack took that to the next level with the roosters. No worries though - no animals were harmed, no fingers were chomped, and C & J restored peace when they encouraged their father to get out and close the door.
 Tractor + Boys = Happiness!
 Oh, did we mention that the high this weekend was 68 degrees?! Hence, all of the exclamation points. We're on a high out here!! T-shirts, sun, exploring, rock collecting, bon-firing. We did it all. (Just as a note: Last week, the kids were in a snowball fight. This week, they were in t-shirts digging up rocks. Gotta love Cleveland - a little bit of everything!)
Weekend with great friends too. Not only did we have Grandma time, we had friends over for dinner on Saturday. They were the kind of friends that you could experiment new dishes on - so I made Indian food! They declared it a success (but they aren't Indian, so who really knows how I did?!). haha. We had leftovers today and our other friend said that she loved it too. So, maybe it was worthy. Justin did not eat his dinner, so he couldn't have dessert. This is what it looks like when you can't have dessert. And no, we did not have Indian dessert. (dessert = pretzel bark + gingerbread cookies)
We take advantage of any day to make cake. It was National Pound Cake day last Monday so the boys and I made a cake for Jack! After tasting it, Colin said, "What is this called again? Butter cake?" haha. And Jack finished up the bed this weekend. Here is our king sized head/food board. Nice job, honey!!

That sun gave us the boost we needed to get us through winter. We're so looking forward to Spring!
Again, as a reminder, this is our snow-covered backyard last week. Jack loves deer, and always breaks out the camera when they're out. They were a bit closer than usual this time...

Great job Jack! The headboard looks wonderful! When do you find the time?

Poor kid! He looks real stubbornly sad......with no dessert! Meanies!

Spring is around the corner! Yay! I can't believe our next trip is to a place colder than here...Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver. Who planned this trip! It may be warmer in Ohio, huh?
