Puerto Vallarta: Week 2

The trip of a lifetime continues...

Week 2 activities include: taking a boat ride and hiking to Yelapa waterfalls, playing more poker and gin rummy, experiencing downtown PV, eating authentic Mexican food everyday by Chef Eduardo, craving Asian food and going to a Chinese restaurant, watching movies, swimming, lounging, sleeping, laughing. Nothing but family goodness.

And the pictures...
Boat ride #2.
Boat ride took us to the little town of Yelepa, and we hiked about 15 minutes to the waterfall.
Sisters and brothers...
Of course, Colin loved the live music in PV and had to get a front row seat on Jichan's lap!
We were all craving some Asian food by the second week... and peking duck at Restaurante BeiJing was just what we all needed! (yes, carved at the table)
Jack & Brian went fishing outside of the villa.
Colin still swam everyday.
Many afternoons were spent with all three boys poolside!
Justin was happiest in the air conditioning and loved to go through Bachan's goodies from shopping downtown.
In Grandma's words, "We're not family at the poker table. Put your $20 in and let's play!"
Colin & Justin's view while they took baths.
Our main eating table at the villa. Eduardo would create new tablescapes for each meal. A perfect view of Los Arcos (the islands in the background).
One of the 13 sunsets we watched every night at dinner! Puerto Vallarta, we will miss you.
And we will miss everyone who made this trip so special. Thank you and we love you!
After 13 amazing days, we made it home safely, and we'll spend the next couple of days transitioning back into Fall weather and doing our own laundry, cooking and housekeeping! =)
