Highlights from the week...

My mom came to visit us for a week! The day she came, Colin and I came down with a cold. Luckily we only came down with sniffles and a bad cough. No fever or anything else. After a couple of days, we were almost back to normal. Here is Colin brushing his teeth. I also feel molars coming in--so maybe his cold is teething related. Poor kid.The weather warmed up for my mom, and we were able to spend time outside...yeah! We took field trips to the zoo (twice!), museum, library and metroparks. Colin learned how to throw rocks into the river, and how to excavate a dinosaur skeleton.Mom cooked us good food. We ordered in good food. We still have tons of leftovers. She also baked us Auntie Judy's special cupcakes. Thank you...I'm still eating them. =)We went out with all of Colin's cousins...and if everyone else orders ice cream, Colin has to have some too! Sam shared his trains with Colin, and Brooke kept Colin entertained. Reagan (4 yrs old) was busy being a mom to Sarah (6 mos old). We had fun, thank you!
What a wonderful week! The snack table doesn't feel complete without you. Thank you for everything, and we can't wait to see you on the next visit.
