Bachan and Jichan were here for about two weeks. This is us at Chagrin Falls.
Last Thursday was boys day. We went to Mama Santas for lunch. Jichan got his favorite sausage sandwich. I got my favorite minestrone soup. And we all got the best pizza in town.
Afterwards we went to an Indians game. Jichan got the boys these baseball caps and the Tribe won 9-3. Thanks Jichan.
The Cuyahoga County Fair was this week. We went on Monday. The boys loved this trampoline.
The highlight of the night was the demolition derby.
You don't see those in SanFrancisco. Haha.
We went down to the East Bank of the flats one night. It was beautiful down there. Everything was new or recently remodeled. There were lots of new bars and restaurants and apartment buildings.
We went to the Alley Cat oyster bar. The food was great and our table was overlooking the river.
Bachan and Jichan took us to a lot of great restaurants. This is the Burntwood Tavern in Chagrin Falls.
The boys had a great time. Jichan taught them how to shoot a sling shot. Bachan played Hayday with them. We hung out at the Beachwood pool and went swimming and kayaking at Marblehead. We watched the olympics and played blackjack. Etc, etc. Too much to remember. Thanks for everything. Can't wait to see you in December.
In other news...
We went to Headlands Beachfest with Meagan and her older son Nolan.
It was a beautiful day. All of the boys flew kites.
There was a sand sculpture competition.
Jamie and Meagan know who they want to win. Haha.
Leela told me she was going to chop off her hair and donate it to charity so I took this before picture.
Looks great Leela.
Justin lost his first tooth. And the one next to it is wiggling. (He decided not to sell it to the tooth fairy. He's keeping it).
And the boys got new goggles.
See you soon.
