Go Cavs - Happy Birthday to me

Cleveland finally did it.  The Cavs won the NBA Championship.  They beat Golden State (sorry Bachan) in seven games after being down 3-1.

The following Wednesday, there was a parade downtown to celebrate.  Denny came into town from Pheonix for it.  Over a million people were there.  The boys and I considered going but after watching the news we chickened out.

After picking up Denny from the parade we all went to Melt in Cleveland Heights.  It was good to catch up.  Denny hasn't been back to Cleveland since he got married.

We're still hanging out at the pool a lot.  Colin is getting good at diving.  He can even dive off of the high dive.

Justin is becoming a betting swimmer also and he told me that he is just starting to learn how to dive in camp.

And he's still the stylish one in the family.

Bachan and Jichan are models now.

We took a trip to Cedar Point.  This is Justin on the Ferris Wheel.  He loved it.

But not as much as the bumper cars.  I think we rode these a dozen times.

He was really into all the cars.  He also got to ride a lot of the big roller coaster because he is over 48" now.  He rode the Gemini about ten times.  He also rode the Magnum which is over 200 feet tall.  The new coaster this year is the Valravyn.  Colin was tall enough to ride it and he loved it.

Justin told me that Colin lets him sleep in his bed on Friday nights.  How cute.

The boys and I spent the day at Mentor Headlands beach last Saturday.  We took a hike out to the lighthouse.  It was a near perfect day.  Hot and sunny all day and the water was very refreshing.

Colin tried teaching himself how to shave.  It didn't work out too well.

For my birthday we went to Baypoint and hung out on the beach.  Nick, Tammi, Brook, Reagan, Matt, Ana, Alex, Danny and Grandma were all there.  Thanks for a great day.

See ya soon.
