We finally got a good snow on a weekend so we decided to go sled riding.
Lots of fun getting the boys ready.
We went to Beachwood City Park. There is a nice hill in the center of the park. That's Justin on my back. We are on a blow up sled. It did not survive the day.
The boys and I went to this engineering fair at Case.
One of the tables had some puzzles. Colin figured out this wooden block puzzle. There was another puzzle about 7 bridges that we all spent at least 20 minutes on. It turns out there is no solution. : (
There were lots of other tables with crafts and puzzles and building projects. The boys ran into a couple of their friends from school and there was free popcorn. Good times.
The mourning doves waiting for me to fill the bird feeder.
Bachan came into town Sunday, February 14th to watch the boys while Jamie and I took a road trip to celebrate our anniversary.
Of course there was a snow storm on the way.
The first stop was Ellicottville, NY to do some skiing.
The weather was great and we had a great time. We stayed at Seneca casino and thankfully did not loose too much money. Ellicottville was amazing. Can't wait to go back and bring the kids. I think they will love skiing.
Next stop was Niagara Falls. We stayed at the Fallsview Marriott.
This was the view from our hotel room. Jamie woke up early and took this picture.
Niagara Falls was great but we couldn't wait for the next stop.
Our last stop was Toronto. It was great. This is the ice skating rink downtown.
The times square of Toronto.
That's a real person.
We went to the art museum. They had an entire floor of model boats. It was amazing.
Across the street from the museum was Uncle Matt's bar. Haha.
We stayed for two nights. The weather was amazing the whole time. We walked everywhere.
That's the CN tower. We didn't bother going up it because our hotel room was about the same height as it. But it was still cool to look at.
The water front downtown was great. There were a couple of small parks, a walkway, museums, bars, restaurants, and a canoe/kayak rental shop.
It was a great trip. Can't wait to do it again. Happy 10th anniversary, Hon. Thanks for everything Bachan.
See you soon.
