However, Justin kicked a few of Colin's teeth out at practice.
Justin thought it was funny and kept taunting Colin by showing off his teeth.
After a while Colin had enough and tried pulling Justin's teeth out.
HaHa. Just kidding. Taekwon-do is going great. Colin's adult teeth will come in soon and apparently Justin just enjoys showing off his teeth for the camera.
Saturday we spent the day at Beachwood pool. It was sunny and 80 all day. Lori thought she was back in Hawaii. I jumped off the high dive. Colin didn't think I could do it.
Then Auntie Lori cooked dinner for everyone. Ramen and vegan gyoza. Cooking and cleaning with Lori is always fun. Lots of Jack Johnson and laughing.
Sunday morning was race day. Lori and I did the Muddy Paws 10 mile trail run in Peninsula, Ohio. The weather was perfect and the scenery was beautiful. Great way to start the day. To top it off I finished 4th in my age group (don't ask how many were in my age group).
Grandma came over Sunday night for dinner and brought her famous macaroni salad and brownies. We grilled veggies and steak and had a good time.
Monday was the big Cedar Point day. Aunt Lori was so completely, totally, excited that she couldn't sleep the night before. She wanted to ride all of the rides and eat as much carnival food as possible.
Auntie Lori smiles all around on the Matterhorn.
Justin pondering the meaning of life on the ski lift.
Justin giving Auntie Lori driving lessons.
It was a great trip. Justin rode dozens of rides with Auntie Lori and Lori didn't get sick once. Colin rode two new rides - Max Air and the Corkscrew (aka Flipperdoodle with a twist which is 80 feet tall and goes 42 mph). Nobody wanted to join me on the Magnum and Power Towe, but they were both awesome anyway (next time, right Colin?).
Lori and Jamie took the boys rock climbing at Lifetime Fitness about 5 times. They both loved it and did great.
Go Justin Go!
What a great week. We all had a blast this week with Lori. She's a bundle of energy and we are all in better shape because of her visit.
Travel safe tomorrow Lori.
I'll try to post every week just like Jamie did.
Go Tribe.
