February/March 2018

Colin got an award for math.  He placed in the top 5% of the country in the NOETIC math contest.  Congrats, Colin.

The wrestling season ended.  Justin had a great year.  He finished with a record of 27-4.  He won his last tournament with three pins and at the end of season banquet he received two awards.  One for (almost) perfect attendance.  The other for outstanding wrestler of the year.  Good job, Justin.

Colin's swim team is currently on spring break for a few weeks.  However, just before the break, he was invited to the sectional tournament in Solon.  He swam in four races and finished 10th in one of them.  Adam and Derek also swam in several races.  Derek, who was also received the outstanding wrestler award with Justin, advanced in one or two races.  Good job boys.

The D.I. season is over.  The tournament was March 3rd.  The kids got fourth place out of thirteen teams in their division.  They had the highest scores in the central challenge and the team choice elements and they received the DaVinci Award.

Good job Yellow Pickles - Asher, Norah, Adam, Colin, Lorena and Siena.

Justin grew his hair out.  This is the longest its been in about two years.

He finally decided to let me cut it.

The boys and I have gone bowling a couple times lately.  I haven't gotten over 100 yet.  Colin scored 130 once.

They have a ninja warrior course at the bowling alley.

Justin loves it.

Colin made it up the wall.  This picture is from when Natalie took them a few weeks ago.

We had St. Patrick's day dinner at our house last Saturday.  Nick came out with the twins and Grandma also made it out.

I made Shamrock Shakes.

The kids loved them.  Doesn't look like Nick cared for them very much though.

Then on Sunday we went to the Bison Feast & Fest at Beachwood Middle School.  Colin's classmate Shristi and her team performed their traditional Indian dancing.

And Justin's choir also performed.  They get better with each performance.

See you soon.
